The locker system launches first in a set of partnered apartment complexes and office buildings in Pissa Box's core delivery markets, with the company working directly with property management companies to install the required locker hardware. Availability is building-specific, and the Pissa Box app indicates whether a delivery address has locker pickup available before a customer selects it as a delivery option.

How Customers Use It

At checkout, eligible addresses see a locker delivery option alongside standard door delivery. Customers who select it receive a notification once their order has been placed in an available locker, along with the access code needed for pickup. The temperature-controlled design means there is no urgency to retrieve the order the instant it arrives, addressing a common complaint about standard delivery where food quality degrades if a customer isn't home the moment the driver arrives.
